What is the cancellation policy of Serene Designer Boutique?

The order can be canceled if it has not been shipped and if the customer has not opted for any customization of the product. Made-to-order products cannot be canceled later. Any cancellation queries should be made within 12 hours of placing orders.


What is the refund policy?

A refund equivalent to the purchase price, less banking charges, will be refunded to the given bank account. However, if the product is rejected upon delivery for unforeseen reasons, the refund will be equivalent to the purchase price less shipping costs. The refund might take 3–5 days after it is initiated, depending on the bank.

For international shipments:

Refunds can be claimed for international parcels if the product is damaged/defective at the time of delivery. The refund will be equivalent to the actual price paid by the consignee. However, in case the product is denied at the time of delivery or rejected by customs due to unforeseen country policies and logistics, the refund will be equivalent to the actual price less shipping charges.


What is the return policy of Serene Designer Boutique?

Returns of the products are not applicable except in the following cases:

  • The product arrives damaged or defective.
  • The wrong product is sent.

To return a product, the customer needs to send an email to sdcktym@gmail.com within 24 hours of the product being delivered.

Once the product is received, a standard quality check will be conducted. If the return is due to an error on our part (incorrect item sent, damaged/defective product), the refund will be processed immediately.

The return process will then be initiated, and a refund equivalent to the purchase price, less banking charges, will be refunded to the given bank account. The refund might take 3–5 days after it is initiated, depending on the bank.

THE PRODUCT BEING RETURNED MUST BE IN ITS ORIGINAL UNUSED CONDITION AND SENT ALONG WITH THE ORIGINAL BILL AND TAGS INTACT.


What is the exchange policy of Serene Designer Boutique?

Exchanges are allowed only in the following cases:

  • The product does not match the description.
  • A damaged or defective item was delivered.

You can exchange the product for any other item on the website of an equivalent or higher price.

To initiate an exchange, the customer must email sdcktym@gmail.com within 5 days of delivery. The company will initiate the exchange process, and a reverse pickup will be arranged.

Conditions for exchange:

  • The product being exchanged must be in its original, unused condition.
  • As all products are handwoven and delicate, they must be returned in the same condition as received, or the exchange request may be canceled.
  • The product must be sent along with the original bill, tags intact, and original packing.

After the exchange is completed, the customer can place a new order for the same product (if available) or a different product of equal or higher value.
